IRL: Townsend Bell snelste bij Rookie Orientation Test

Oud-F3000-coureur Townssend Bell doorstond de Rookie Test met glans. De Indycar-debutant mocht zich na gisteren voorlopig de snelste Rookie op de Indianapolis Motor Speedway noemen.

"Ik heb goed naar de adviezen van voormalig Indy-winnaar Johnny Rutherford geluisterd. Deze snelheden zijn adembenemend. Je moet echt wel even slikken." verklaarde Vision-coureur Townsend Bell na afloop van de Rookie-Orientation Tests. Vanaf vandaag komen vrijwel alle teams ter voorbereiding van het eerste kwalificatieweekend in actie.

De tijden van de Rookie Orientation Test zijn als volgt:
